The Children’s Ministry at One In Christ Church is dedicated to nurturing a renewed personal faith in Jesus Christ among children and helping them build lasting relationships with God. This goal is achieved through sound biblical teaching, engaging and relevant discipleship training, and creating a learning environment that is both fun and educational. We warmly invite volunteers to join our mission; your time and talents can significantly impact these young lives. The communication team at One In Christ (OIC) Church aims to connect people and deliver impactful messages. The team is tasked with various responsibilities that include communicating within and outside the church to build up its members and the church community, and promote the kingdom of Christ locally and globally. They manage the church’s brand, maintain a consistent presence on social media, and ensure clear communication of church activities, initiatives, and sensitive issues. The team consists of staff and volunteers from diverse backgrounds such as writers, photographers, designers, and translators. They focus on fostering a loving, united community and are keen on recruiting individuals who are committed to these values, have skills in communication and media, and can contribute to the church’s vision of outreach and unity.

The finance team is in charge of tracking all monetary income and expenses. This includes: counting the weekly offerings, paying monthly bills, and issuing reimbursement checks. We do this to ensure the church remains operational and focused on our goals. We are looking for trustworthy individuals who have a basic understanding of financials.

The Mission Team at One In Christ (OIC) Church is dedicated to equipping its members to share the gospel confidently and joyfully in every situation. This new and vibrant team fosters a supportive environment where members can grow in their faith and become adept at outreach through innovative local events, mission trips, and training retreats. Whether you’re skilled in organizing, creative thinking, or simply passionate about helping others, the Mission Team offers a place to develop these talents while advancing the gospel. Our nursery ministry at One In Christ Church provides a safe, nurturing environment where our littlest members can experience the love of Christ from the very beginning of their lives. We are looking for compassionate and dedicated volunteers to join our team and make a lasting impact in the lives of children by providing them with care and spiritual guidance during their formative years. Volunteering in our nursery not only enriches the lives of our children but also offers a rewarding opportunity to serve and grow in faith. We invite you to be a part of this vital ministry, helping to sow seeds of faith and love in the hearts of our youngest believers.

The Potluck & Event Preparation team is in charge of setting up tables, chairs, etc for the monthly potluck as well as other irregular events. The PEP team also assists in the post-event cleanup which includes cleaning off the tables and packing up the tables and chairs. This team is important because it ensures that OIC has well-ordered events that contribute to the bonding community of OIC’s members. The PEP team is looking for people who are seeking to help create memorable experiences for OIC’s community.

Greeters on the welcome team play a vital role in forming a visitor’s first impression of our church and, to some, their first impression of Jesus Christ. A welcome team greeter is helpful to the church by welcoming all members each Sunday morning and distributing church bulletins/announcements. We are welcoming anyone with a positive attitude that would like to help greet all church members and new guests once a month from 10:30 until the service starts. We want to be a helpful resource to new visitors navigating through the church and receive their contact information so they feel welcome back and included.

OIC youth ministry is dedicated to serving and equipping the next generations of young individuals in their walks, by fostering a trusting and welcoming community, growth in day to day living, and teaching biblically sound theology. We aim to create a loving and welcoming environment where youth can deepen their faith, develop meaningful relationships, and prepare them for the future. Through fellowship, discipleship, and biblical teaching, we inspire and equip young people to live out their beliefs with compassion, integrity, and hope.
