Our Name
The name "One In Christ" (OIC) was chosen to reflect our core belief that all believers, regardless of their backgrounds, are united in Christ.
Worship Service
We sing the Scriptures through God-focused songs. We read the Scriptures publicly. We hear an expository message taken from the text of Scripture.
Worship Music
Our worship music seamlessly blends English and Mandarin, alternating verses between the two languages, with a mix of contemporary music and traditional hymns.
Parking and Ride
We have a large parking lot. Park anywhere you would like. If you need a ride, please fill out the form below.
Congregation
We are a vibrant community of believers from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds. We're united in our purpose to worship God, grow in our faith, and share the love of Christ with the world.
Our History
In May 2023, we celebrated a significant milestone in our journey: the merger of Lynchburg Chinese Christian Church (LCCC) and Freedom Baptist Church (FBC). This union brought together diverse cultures, traditions, and hearts, united in our shared mission to serve and glorify God.
Youth Ministry
Our youth ministry meets at the same time as the adult Sunday school, providing a space for teens to connect, grow, and explore their faith.
Children's Worship
Children of all ages are welcome to our simultaneous children's worship, held at the same time as the main service. Through lively lessons, music, and activities tailored to their age, kids can explore faith and connect with God.
Fun Activities
Pickleball on Mondays Tae Kwon Do on Thursdays Badminton on Saturdays Lifting on Saturdays
Stay Connected With Our Church Family
Fill out a Welcome Card so one of our pastors or shepherds can personally reach out, answer your questions, and help you find your next step at OIC.
More Ways to Get Involved
Join a Small Group
We invite you to join our fellowship groups. “Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds” - Hebrews 10:24.
Get Weekly Updates
Our website doesn't change much, but the Church Center app does. Get the latest announcements and news from OIC every week.
Volunteer and Serve
Many teams at church needs volunteers, such as cleaning, IT, maintenance, safety, and translation.
Give
Giving is an integral part of our worship and faith. Our God is a generous God, and in following His teachings, we are encouraged to reflect His generosity in our own lives.
